How it works

Orders in. Routes out. Updates as needed

Send orders from your POS or OMS once. Bevylle then assigns every stop, watches each active run, and shifts the workload whenever conditions change.

Step one

Link your order source

Send orders to Bevylle through REST API or a direct POS or OMS connection. Every order includes a delivery window, drop zone, and special handling notes. That is enough for the engine to start assigning.

Most integrations are connected in under an hour. Growth and Fleet plans come with a guided onboarding session to check connection and dispatch your first shift alongside our team.

  • REST API, JSON order payloads
  • Direct connections to common POS platforms
  • Webhook callbacks for order status changes

Step two

Automatic courier assignment by engine

As each order enters the queue, the dispatch engine compares available couriers by window and zone. It assigns the courier with the strongest position, load, and time fit, without dispatcher action.

The driver app receives the assignment, complete with stop order and navigation. Dispatchers can change any assignment in the dashboard. During most early-access pilot shifts, operators said they seldom had to.

  • Match the nearest available courier fleetwide
  • Balance loads to avoid overloading one courier
  • Override assignments whenever needed

Step three

Routes change with the run

A traffic issue on a key corridor, a courier 15 minutes behind, or a driver calling out mid-shift all change the state. The engine recalculates affected stops across active couriers and sends revised routes to driver apps within seconds.

Pre-miss alerts arrive before a window expires, rather than after a customer calls. The dispatch board identifies the at-risk stop, reason code, and revised ETA after rerouting. Dispatchers see the decision as well as result.

  • Live traffic data informs rerouting decisions
  • Pre-miss alerts show reason codes: traffic, capacity, late pickup
  • Reroute audit trail in analytics dashboard

Technical architecture

Inside the engine

Bevylle keeps a live dispatch graph, updated with fleet telemetry and a traffic-data layer. The engine re-solves whenever state changes, rather than at set polling intervals. Its architecture has no batch that refreshes every 5 minutes.
